INTERNATIONAL FILM AND VIDEO COMPETITION FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

CINESELVAGGI FILM FESTIVAL (CFF), organised by ITSOS Albe Steiner Milan
and Filmmaker association for the promotion of innovative audiovisual products and
financed by MIUR and MiC and public and private institutions, is a festival for films
and videos
both in school and non-school settings, written and created by high
school students and graduated ex students up to the age of 21.
The Short films Competition is open to fiction films, documentaries, animation, music videos with a running time not over 15 minutes, created after 1 January 2022.

The registration form to take part in the competition “Short films” must be filled out online by 29 October 2023

Write the link of your entry video in the appropriate box of the online form (the
original file must be in full HD mp4) uploaded previously on a streaming platform
(vimeo downloadable, youtube unlisted, Dropbox, google drive shared with the
following email selezione.festival@itsosmilano.it, but not wetransfer)

For the Short films Competition, the following Prizes will be awarded:

The following categories will receive:

Best video (Jury prize), voucher 700€ (euro) to be spent at Adcom S.R.L., supplier
and distributor of audio and video material.

Best video (Audience prize).

RULES AND TERMS

  1. ORGANISERS

Cineselvaggi Film Festival CFF – 2nd Edition is organised by ITSOS Albe e Lica Steiner
Milan
and Filmmaker financed by MIUR and MiC and public and private institutions.

  1. FESTIVAL DATES

The 2nd edition of CINESELVAGGI FILM FESTIVAL (CFF) will be held in Milan from
4 to 6 December 2023 at the ITSOS Albe Steiner theatre, Via san Dionigi 36 – Milan.

  1. HIGH SCHOOL AUDIOVISUAL FILM COMPETITION
  • High school students and graduated ex students up to the age of 21 are
    eligible to participate in the competition with their audiovisual films.
  • Films created after 1 January 2022 are eligible to be submitted to the
    Competition;
  • Total running time of the film must not exceed 15 minutes (including
    opening and closing credits);
  • Registration to the Competition must be submitted completing the entry form
    available on www.cineselvaggi.it;
  • Please submit the link to your film for the category Short Films Competition
    by 10th November 2023 (at the same time as the online registration of the Short
    Film);
  • Films both admitted and not admitted to the Competition will become part of
    the Festival’s archive;
  • The selection of films takes place at the sole discretion of the Festival Jury;
  • The Festival will communicate the results of the selection to the candidates
    via e-mail, at the end of the selection;
  • Dates and times of the film projections fall within the competence of the
  • Festival.
  • Day, hour and place of the projections of the selected films will be
  • communicated via e-mail and published on the website www.cineselvaggi.it.

  1. RIGHTS AND GUARANTEES

a) Files of the short films correctly registered to the Competition will become part of
the Festival’s archive;

b) Cineselvaggi reserves the possibility to use films or parts of films, non-profit, on
any communication platform (e.g. tv and web), in Italy and abroad, without any time
limit and without paying any copyright. Candidates taking part in the competition
must ensure legitimate authorisation of the film. All rights regarding the work are the
property of the authors;

c) By submitting a film, each participant agrees to accept and unconditionally abide
by the rules and clauses listed in the present Rules and Terms;
d) The school/institution/author submitting a video agrees to guarantee the existence
of release document lawfully issued by the parents of any minors participating in the
competition, with the aim of authorising the use with no reserve of films involving the
same minors, and agrees also to exhibit the said declarations at the sole request of
the Festival’s organisers.

e) The Festival Management can make decisions regarding any issues that may
arise unforeseen by this present Rules and Terms.

Any controversy will be dealt with by the Court of Milan.
